NYC is now enforcing salary transparency. But Tesla, Amazon, Citi, and others are still posting huge pay ranges

Just over two years ago, the New York City Council passed a bill that would require most employers in the city to include salary information on all job postings, an effort to mitigate persistent pay disparities that often have an outsize impact on women and people of color.
